It is crust leather - dried after tanning, partially dyed, finishing has not been applied.
Leather is smooth, velvety, very natural touch.
Has a vintage look.
The leather is distressed, all the marks are visible - if you order a leather sheet - you will not see any deep scars, cuts, holes.
Crust leather has the most luxurious touch and feel to it, like silk, but requires the most maintenance to keep it in perfect shape, as its fully open to the elements.
In order to protect the leather from stains, discoloration and scratches, you can add finishing to the leather, you can dye it (dark colours only as it is already blue) and use oils, waxes or other leather chemicals.

If you choose a pre-cut sheet, you will receive a leather piece in rectangular shape. You may receive a bigger size.
If you choose a hide or a side, you will receive leather in a shape that is irregular, see a photo attached to this listing.
Hide is all the leather you get from an animal - shoulders, butt and belly.
Side is a half of a hide, cut along the backbone.
The size of the hides and sides are measured in tanneries.
